A Home Inspector is NOT a Mold Inspector.

A Mold Remediator should not do a Mold Inspection 
A Mold Remediators job is to perform remediation based on a Remediation Protocol
written by a third party Mold Inspector. The only way to avoid what is purely a conflict of interest
is to not engage with a Mold Remediation contractor who will perform mold remediation
without first having a third party written protocol.

Due to the fact that mold is NOT regulated in North or South Carolina, there are
Mold Remediation firms that will perform Mold Remediation
without protocol and without the necessary THIRD PARTY testing.  Do not be “talked” into this.
