Don’t be held hostage by your Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)!

Indoor air can be 2 to 3 times more polluted than outdoor air, so it is easy to see how your home or  could be harmful to your health.

           A newly cleaned system will run more efficiently than a dirty one, resulting in lower utility bills, and a cleaner, less dusty home. More importantly, clean air ducts can have a significant positive impact on your family’s health. Dirty duct systems are a major source of indoor air pollution. Airborne contaminants are pulled into the ducts every time the heating and cooling system runs. Over time, these contaminants build up inside the ductwork, creating an ideal breeding ground for mold, bacteria, fungi and other microbes. Particles drawn into the air ducts also pass through fiberglass filters and infiltrate into HVAC equipment, undermining the performance and energy efficiency of these systems. This can lead to higher repair and maintenance costs, and shorter service life in the long run. According to the EPA, a build-up of only 0.42" of dirt on a heating or cooling coil can decrease efficiency by 21%.

Dryer Vent Cleaning...
Have You Cleaned Your Dryer Vents Lately...or Ever?

Your entire ventilation run is cleaned. IAC cleans the dryer vent run from entry to point of exit (INSIDE AND OUT) as well as around the dryer. The better the airflow your clothes dryer has, the quicker clothes dry, thus saving you money. Airflow can become restricted for a number of reasons:

• Bird nest
• Lint build-up
• Long vent runs (8 feet and longer)
• Numerous bends
• Moisture build-up & more

If properly maintained, dryer vents will only need cleaning every 1-2 years. Based on usage, it may require more frequent cleaning and annual inspection. As required, the cleaning process can be recorded in order to illustrate before and after results.

Lint Buildup Takes More Energy To Dry Your Clothes -
If your dryer isn't drying your clothes like it used to, you probably don’t need a new dryer – just a standard or pressurized mechanical dryer vent cleaning! A dryer vent clogged with lint reduces airflow so your dryer can't dry clothes as efficiently or quickly as it used to. An inefficient dryer uses more energy, thereby costing you more money. Dryer vent cleaning save you money.

Dryer vent cleaning prevents dryer fires - Dryer fires have been of the leading cause of home fires throughout recent years.  A dryer vent clogged (fully or partially) with lint reduces airflow escape.  This causes heat build up and then ignition (a dryer fire).  Lint is a boy scouts favorite material for starting fires; after all, it is highly flammable! Dryer vent cleanings prevent dryer fires and save lives.

Warning Signs to Watch for;

    * Increased drying time
    * Clothes very hot to the touch at the end of the cycle
    * Outdoor flapper on vent hood does not open when dryer is running
    * Little or no airflow in the vent

The many Benefits of Dryer Vent Cleaning:

    * Dryer vent cleaning eliminates home and health threats
    * Dryer vent cleaning prevents dryer fires
    * Dryer vent cleaning increases efficiency; reduces energy bills
    * Dryer vent cleaning extends the life of your clothes dryer
    * Dryer vent cleaning prevents premature break-down resulting in expensive repair bills
    * Dryer vent cleaning improves air quality in your home, preventing mold and mildew damage  and carbon monoxide poisoning.
    * Dryer vent cleaning helps preserve clothing with faster drying time

Dryer vent cleaning is recommended annually; it is the only solution to poor venting caused by lint build-up in the system.  In some cases, dryer vent cleaning may need to be done more often.

Clothes Dryer Vent Cleanings & Inspections Prevent Unnecessary Deaths, Injuries, and Property Damage!
